Single-mode (SM) armoured launch fiber, with SC/APC connector at one end and LC/APC connector at the other end.
The leading fiber is a special fiber that is connected in front of a measurement section in an OTDR measurement. The fiber is indispensable for a standard-compliant measurement and fades out unwanted effects of the device on the measurement section. This is the only way to correctly measure the first and last connector of a link.One of the fiber ends must be compatible with the connector of the OTDR to be used.
