The new CoaxData series from Televes transforms existing coaxial cables into high-speed Ethernet networks.

The new CoaxData series from Televes delivers speeds of up to 1.7 Gbps and supports up to 64 connection points, an innovation that is key to modernising communications systems in residential buildings and homes. Through the Coaxial-To-The-Room (CTTR) concept, the CoaxData range offers a cost- effective alternative to the Fibre-To-The-Room (FTTR) model, minimising costs and avoiding significant disruption to existing installations during deployment.

This transformation is based on the G.hn specification, a robust standard that enables seamless data transmission over existing coaxial cabling. Unlike fibre, which can be costly and disruptive to install, G.hn technology provides an accessible solution for upgrading networks, maintaining consistent, high-speed connections even in complex multi- occupancy or mixed-use environments. Its versatility allows it to adapt to different use cases, from residential properties to hospitality and healthcare facilities.
