NB-IoT Remote Control Node Zhaga type

The NB IoT Node is a basic element of Point-to-Point remote management, essential for integrating the lighting network in a Smart City framework. It is a device that monitors and controls a light point. The node has the ability to connect to an NB-IoT wireless communications network using a nano SIM card. In this way, it communicates bidirectionally with a remote management platform, such as Aurant Lighting Module. From the platform, orders are sent to the node to act on each luminaire, remotely managing its switching on, off or dimming. On the other hand, the node sends to the platform the information collected from each light point, monitoring the data of the lighting network.
The node includes a brightness sensor to switch the luminaire on or off depending on the ambient light level, even if it is disconnected from the net. It has an integrated GPS that automatically geolocates each light point on the map, a consumption meter to monitor the operation of the luminaires and detect failures or anomalies in the mains, and a supercapacitor that maintains the node's autonomy in the event of a power failure, to preserve the functions and the collected data. It also has an accelerometer that detects the movement of the node, thus warning of a possible fall of the luminaire, impact or theft.
This node is installed on the outside of the luminaire through a Zhaga type connection. It is compatible with all our Z series luminaires and with any luminaire equipped with a Zhaga connection and a Dali2 driver with D4i certification.
