The United Kingdom has become Televes’ third largest export market, thanks to the success of the company’s UK subsidiary (Televes UK) in the sale of RF filters, which prevent potential interference in the home between new generation mobile signals (4G) and digital terrestrial television (DTT). Televes recently took part in London in an encounter for companies with a presence in the UK market promoted by the Regional Government of Galicia. At this forum it was revealed that the UK is an increasingly important destination for Galician exports, showing an increase of 24% so far in 2013. Televes to present solutions for 'Hospitality' sector at benchmark showcase for Middle East, Africa and South Asia

Matthias Dienst, new Managing Director of Televes Corporation’s German subsidiary

Televes Corporation has appointed Matthias Dienst as the new Managing Director of Televes Deutschland GmbH, the Group’s Germany subsidiary. Dienst, who has extensive experience in the sector, will lead Televés’ growth strategy in the German market, considered strategic in the Company’s development plans. Dienst is joining Televes on 11th June. Televes is participating in the project to create the largest business-oriented ‘Cloud’ test platform in Europe

Televes has been selected to test its Digital Building and Home solutions on BonFIRE, the largest Cloud Test Platform in Europe, to carry out large-scale business-oriented experiments and tests. The BonFIRE Project (www.bonfire-project.eu) has a budget of around eight million Euros, and is financed by the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme on Research and Technological Development. It receives participation from important multinationals, supercomputing centres and universities from ten European countries. Televes launches a new range of transmodulators to customize the distribution of channels with content from different satellites

Televes is launching a new range of transmodulators with remultiplexing that allows personalized distribution of content from up to three different transponders received via satellite (DVB or DVB-S2). This means that facilities such as hotels, hospitals or nursing homes can customise their own choice of TV channels, which can be modified without retuning TV sets. Transmodulators DVB/S2-COFDM CI and DVBS/S2 – QAM CI feature a common interface slot to use a conditional access module (CAM) and thus decrypt the contents of one or more existing services within the satellite transponders.
