Compact high technology preamplifier with digital channel processing, designed for outdoors installation in family-houses. Equipped with 3 inputs, it combines and amplifies these terrestrial signals (VHF+UHF) to bring in stations from different sites. Each channel can be individually filtered and adjusted by any of the 32 available programmable filters. SmartKom is supplied with a 12V (750mA) domestic power supply that
is inserted into the coaxial installation and powers it through its output connector.
Thanks to the Bluetooth® antenna included into the PSU, the preamplifier can be programmed wirelessly via smartphone or tablet using the ASuite application. This application offers 2 programming modes:
Automatic: the preamplifier uses its intelligence and self-programs itself, performing a channel scan and selecting the most prominent channels. Afterwards, it also balances the signal level between channels.
Advanced: it is the professional who carries out a more personalized configuration of the installation. Using ASuite, he filters the desired channels and adjusts the level of each one of them. All of this, from indoors and without having to physically go to the location of the preamplifier.
"All-in-one" device: it combines the functions of several functions needed in an installation including filters, combiners and amplifiers, supplying a complete signal distribution under a single coaxial cable
With the ASuite application it is possible to program the device wirelessly (Bluetooth®), either automatic or advanced, avoiding the need to physically climb the mast
Autoprogramming: with this function available in ASuite, the preamplifier performs channel filtering and level adjustment by itself, as well as powering the antennas when it detects that the signal requires it
Advanced programming: professionals can perform a more customized configuration in ASuite, selecting the desired channels on each of the inputs and adjusting the levels of each channel
Automatic gain regulation of signal in each filter (AGC) and wide dynamic range in each filter adjusts all carriers to the same power
Great signal quality: its digital processing minimizes severe signal loss, co-channel interference, as well as multipath and phasing interference common with conventional splitters/combiners
Compatible with existing HDTV signals and UHD 4K stations (NextGen TV / ATSC 3.0)
Undesired out of band and cell phone LTE/5G signals are filtered to avoid interference
Secure configuration: in case of loss of power, SmartKom saves the current configuration, avoiding the need to configure it again
Remote powering, through the coaxial cable
LEDs status indicators, as well as both adjustment and programming physical buttons on the preamplifier and on the power supply
High shielding chassis (Zamak) to protect against electromagnetic interference
Weather resistant: the device is housed inside a sturdy weather resistant case
Static installation: SmartKom does not require moving mechanical parts that are prone to failure
