RTVE migrates satellite frequencies from Astra to Hotbird before 29th february

RTVE´s satellite change to Hot Bird 13B forces users to realign their sat dishes before 29th of february Santiago de Compostela, 6th february 2020. Radio Televisión Española, the public radio-television entity in Spain, has reported that channels TVE Internacional, Canal 24 Horas and RNE broadcasts, which were being broadcasted through Astra satellite, have also begun emissions through Hot Bird 13B satellite. This simultaneous broadcast (simulcast), which began on December 15, 2019, will end on February 29. As of that date Astra emissions will cease. Televes validates Carelife solution to UMO

Televes has successfully validated the Carelife solution to UMO using SCAIP. UMO is an independent monitoring centre platform for telecare, teleheath, wellbeig and personal security. By means of this validation, Carelife can now be used by all UMO customers. Cafelife aims to care and improve the quality of life of dependents and seniors, with the intention of promoting active and healthy aging processes. Televes hosts GHOST kick-off, a European cibersecurity project for the Smart-Home

The official kick-off for the european project GHOST has taken place in the Televes Corporation facilities, headquarted in Santiago de Compostela (Spain). The main objective set forth by GHOST is to develop a user-friendly application to improve security and privacy in a Digital Home connected to Internet of Things (IoT), using the most advanced technologies available for this purpose. In this way, GHOST will contribute to boost european IoT home market, bringing next-generation security systems for domestic applications (based on technologies like blockchain or deep packet inspection) to all users, independently of their previous knowledge. Televes expands its international network with the launch of a subsidiary in Scandinavia

Televes Corporation has just launched Televes Scandinavia, its eleventh international subsidiary. Televes Scandinavia will aim to increase the presence of the brand in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, as well as the other Nordic countries: Finland, Iceland and Greenland.
